COZY UP! COLLECTIVE

In 2014 I cofounded CozyUp! Collective. The collective, which ran for nearly a decade, hosted a quarterly gallery show with over 100 local and international artists. Our mission was to bridge the local art scene with the broader contemporary art world. We were extremely proud to be able to provide a platform for local and international artists to connect with buyers and community directly.

Each quarter I conceptualized unique themes for the upcoming show, and oversaw the design, planning, and marketing for the event. My role involved scouting and nurturing lasting partnerships with local businesses, gallery spaces and photographers, securing money for funding as well as managing inventory and artist relationships. This experience honed my skills in community building, event management, and most importantly for creativity and collaboration.
